Mission
The mission of the Riverside Regional Jail is to detain both pretrial and sentenced inmates who present a physical threat to the community or themselves or a risk of not appearing for court hearings.
Philosophy
The philosophy of the facility is to ensure that inmates leave the facility no worse physically, emotionally, or psychologically than when they entered.

Financial reports and detailed statistical analysis concerning the Riverside Regional Jail Authority to include graphical reports and multi-year population studies.
Special Olympics
The Riverside Regional Jail supports the Special Olympics of Virginia® through continuous fundraising efforts and participation in the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, and Polar Plunge®.
Volunteer
The Riverside Regional Jail actively partners with both local and national community service and faith-based organizations to provide guidance and transformational assistance to its inmate population.
