Dr. Gohar Abbassi, MD

Director of Medical

A 1988 graduate of the Rawalpindi Medical College in Islamabad, Pakistan, Dr. Gohar Abbassi has been with Riverisde since 1999 where he has served as the jail's Director of Medical. Responsible for all aspects of the Medical division, Dr. Abbassi treats hundreds of inmates each year for both new and existing medical issues in addition to supervising numerous medical and mental health professionals.
